Message	current insurance (so says my State Farm agent). The assumption is that they know you'll put the car on the insurance and I think you have 30 days to do it. Whenever I pull insurance on my cars in the winter and put them on in the spring, they always ask me what date I want it effective for and they just put it in that way...same sort of thing.
